It depends on your policy, which you set once. Most tutors charge a 50% late-cancel fee if cancellation is under 24 hours and full price for a no-show. Cadence holds a card on file via Stripe when the parent first books, so the charge goes through automatically — no awkward 'you owe me' message at the next lesson. The audit log shows the student no-showed, the fee charged, and the WhatsApp notification that went to the parent.

Can I take a different price for trial classes?

Do I have to use a separate phone or can it stay on my existing WhatsApp?

You'll need a dedicated business number for the customer-facing AI agent (this is a WhatsApp Business Account requirement, not a Cadence one).
